This was the first job I applied for using the new resume and cover letter. It has been less than 2 weeks between my first application and accepting a negotiated offer–a real whirlwind! I am amazed at how the updated resume and cover letter, and a new job search strategy has transformed my jobseeking experience. Early this year I applied for job after job with minimal luck. This time round I received immediate attention! I had two further interview offers for next week, but turned them down after accepting this fantastic role!

I was still in South Africa when you wrote my resume some 14 months ago. I sent my resume to one company who gave me a call within 20 minutes of receiving my resume! I got an interview a month later in Perth and was appointed as a senior account broker – a role that is both challenging and rewarding.
